Meet the designers at an informal buffet lunch: view sketches, see how designs from their new architectural ironmongery collection by Black & Key were developed and explore the many finish options available.

From concept to reality: The original cabinet handle was designed for a bespoke desk for a woman’s study; Karin wanted to create a softer and more feminine style, which was ergonomically designed and pleasing to the eye as well as the touch.

Black & Key designed the first lever handle for the Bow Collection, and in collaboration with SDS further pieces of ironmongery were created, thereby achieving a full suite of architectural hardware. We are particularly enthusiastic about the collection being manufactured in the UK by SDS and thereby achieving the high level of craftsmanship eponymous to all products bearing the Black & Key brand name.

The Bow collection is, we hope, the first of many other collections which will be based on our in-house designs, and a continuing collaboration with SDS.
